Financial and Operations Executive Steven Bruno Promoted
ALBANY, NY (February 3, 2022) - Repeat Business Systems, Inc., the Capital Region's leader in IT and managed network services, copiers, printers, mailing and shipping solutions, office technology, and document imaging software services announces the promotion of Steven Bruno to the position of Chief Financial Officer, effective February 3, 2022.
"It gives me great pleasure to announce Steve has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer," said Repeat Business Systems' David Lynch, Chief Operating Officer. "Steve has been integral in merging the financial systems of our three branches, including our two recent acquisitions over the past two years. In addition he has successfully coordinated the cooperation and processes of our administrative teams." "His leadership qualities and ability to communicate his vision has been beneficial to the organization and he is masterful with his role on the company's leadership team." According to Dawn Abbuhl, President, "It is rare for someone so young to excel to the extent Steve does." "He is truly talented, not just with finances, but managing a team as well."
Bruno joined Repeat Business Systems, Inc. in August 2013 as an accounting intern. After his internship he was offered a position as Staff Accountant and has been promoted twice to the positions of Assistant Controller and most recently, Controller. Bruno's role will oversee all three company branches (Repeat Business Systems, Inc., Ed & Ed Business Technology, and Databranch) in the areas of finance and administration.

This will be the Company’s lucky 13th acquisition and will continue to fill in the corridor between their current Corporate Headquarters in Albany, NY and their Western New York branch.

On behalf of everyone at Repeat Business Systems, Inc. (and Ed and Ed Business Technology) we want to thank all of our customers for your patience and understanding as we work together to address the evolving coronavirus outbreak and how it will impact all of us.
First, safety of our customers and staff is of the utmost importance. We have taken steps to initiate social distancing when possible and tighten protocols following the CDC recommendations for workplace and customer office hygiene. Any staff that exhibits flu-like symptoms or has a family member that has symptoms are required to stay home.
Information is being updated regularly and we, like everyone else, are adapting to what health officials have communicated and recommended for the safety of our customers and staff.
At this time, we will continue to work diligently to provide services without interruption. Please be aware that the manufacturers could have some backorder situations for products made in other countries. We are ordering extra inventory in order to minimize the impact in the event that backorders occur.
At this point we are keeping our service team in the field to keep the functionality of your equipment in working order. They have been given strict protocol to follow when on a customer’s site for safety precautions including wearing gloves, wiping down their tools with alcohol and washing their hands on entry and exit.
